Environmental Education, through Heritage Education, stimulates experiences that can constitute the basis for environmental preservation by rescuing stories of cultures which were part of the dynamics of nature that permeated past generations marked by unique historical and cultural aspects. This paper aims at discussing the meanings brought by the subproject "The Max (Museum of Archaeology Xingó) in Pedagogical Practices" to the school community. The methodology consisted of the following stages, which were developed in action-research: Sensitization, Pedagogical Experience and Culmination. Such actions must be part of the actors’ reality in the school community in order to establish a continuous dialogue in a process of knowledge systematization towards the construction of meanings.Downloads
