Práticas educativas no contexto escolar e as manifestações dos princípios da educação ambiental
Abstract
This paper aims at understanding how Environmental Education (EE) principles are expressed in an Elementary School teacher´s practice. The methodology used in this investigation is of the case-study type. The analysis was based on the interviews, notes taken in the study diary, and the teacher´s notes and reflections in her diary. While the information was analyzed, special attention was paid to the EE principles, expressed in the teacher´s practice: dialogue, care, and cooperation. Having this purpose in mind, theoretical support was found in Barcelos (2003), Carvalho (2002), Leff (2002), Reigota (2002), Tagliber (2004), etc. As a conclusion, we noticed that the meanings of these principles can be used to think the proposals for teacher education over if they are re-viewed in these spaces. After all, they end up influencing educational practices tha will, in turn, establish ways of being a teacher and ways of teaching.Downloads
