“LiARDIalogando”: performance of an extension project from the radiology and diagnostic imaging academic league from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) - an experience report

Abstract

The university extension, along with teaching and research, make up the academic tripod of a public university in Brazil. In this perspective, the radiology and diagnostic imaging academic league (LiARDI) from the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) idealized and put into practice the continuous project called “LiARDIalogando”, which, since its inception, in July 2021, has been developing constant extension actions to bring useful knowledges to the population with the finality of create significant contributions in the health area. In this regard, our goal is, precisely, to expose the tools by which the “LiARDIalogando” fulfills its academic role, through online and face-to-face extensions actions that value the main health and clinical topics associated with imaging diagnosis.
