Abstract

This article focuses on biographical research, highlighting the contributions of this methodological approach to the study of migration and interculturality, through the use of the biographical interview and other techniques, with the aim of making visible, understanding and socially and culturally contextualising the life histories of minors and young people of immigrant origin. The theoretical references are based on narrative identities, critical interculturality and migration studies. It is proposed a complex and plural approach to biographical research on immigrants, with a specific focus on minors and young people, paying attention to the epistemological and methodological dimensions, in order to develop research with quality, rigour, ethical sense and social relevance.
