Monitoramento de CO² em ambientes internos escolares e sensibilização sobre as problemáticas ambientais pós-pandemia

A Educação Ambiental (EA) desempenha um papel crucial ao preencher a lacuna entre conhecimento e ação, e a pandemia da COVID-19 ressaltou a importância de ações fundamentadas para combater doenças transmitidas pelo ar. Este trabalho é um estudo de caso sobre a Universidade de Calgary, Canada, e destaca, principalmente, o monitoramento de Dióxido de Carbono (CO2) para promover a EA em ambientes educacionais internos e recomendações para o uso do monitoramento de CO2 em salas de aula. A urgência em conter a propagação de infecções transmitidas pelo ar demanda uma compreensão mais ampla do papel do CO2 na qualidade do ar e na saúde. O monitoramento de CO2 em ambientes internos pode aprimorar essa compreensão, informar estratégias de mitigação e responsabilizar instituições por proporcionar ambientes seguros.
