The purpose of this essay is to present didactic experiences lived with the group of the 5th period of the discipline of Fundamentals and Practices for Science Teaching of the Course of Guarani Indigenous Degree - Pedagogy Qualification - UNIVALI configuring teaching from the indigenous perception, valuing knowledge , the traditional flavors and actions of the village / community and, at the same time, envisioning possibilities of dialoguing with the Basic Curriculum of Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education of the Territory of Santa Catarina - CBTC (2019). The protagonists are the 18 academics who, by bringing the voices of their villages, connect us with the essential principles: respect for the universe, natural cycles and the land where everything is born. The intercultural perspective made it possible to see, as interdependent, the uniqueness in diversity and its opposite. It also highlighted the beauty of the multidimensionality of cultures and the richness of the integration of practices for teaching science that can be complementary. See through the eyes of one culture, the culture of the other. To look with the look that notices, because to repair is “to put in good condition”. This is the exercise that must be experienced by teachers from indigenous and non-indigenous schools.
