Desenvolvimento de interfaces para a operação de uma plataforma de ensaios de embarcações

Abstract

This article gives an overview of MANOBRAS, an interface developed to perform the computer operation of a oceanic maneuvering platform, at COPPE-RJ. It starts with a brief description of the platform itself, followed by a description of all the software system: the main interface (including trajectory’s generation aspects), the 3D simulator and finally the communication protocol between computer and onboard system.
