Methods of Higher Education: an analysis of its use by teachers of Course of Sciences Accounting Federal University of Campina Grande - PB - Campus de Sousa.

Higher education in Brazil constantly evolving and new methods of teaching and learning is paramount. The objective of this study was to demonstrate the teaching methodologies used by teachers of upper level of the Accounting Course UFCG, Campus de Sousa-PB. The University introduced in 2004, Campus de Sousa-PB, the course of Bachelor of Science in Accounting, which aroused the interest of several students and technicians in the profession graduating from that course. For teachers it becomes more challenging by the fact that some of these students have practical knowledge in the area. The methodological procedures involved the research is characterized as quantitative, descriptive and its range as it was decided to field research, data collection was done through a structured questionnaire. The main teaching strategies adopted are dynamic, seminars, lectures, lectures, guided and case studies. Regarding the profile of teachers that make up the Accounting Course in Sousa-PB are professionals who have a high capacity, and has the desire to include practice in making the student teaching Accounting Accounting not only a researcher but a professional prepared for the labor market.Downloads
