The Relation Between Experiences With the Scientific Research in undergraduate courses and the difficulties in preparation of articles in Academic Masters

Nowadays, companies from many different sectors require professional knowledge of accounting science that go beyond the accounting records, requiring it to have visions depth, analytical reviews of the various organizational needs, including those involving the managerial and leadership role, causing the counter to get a solid academic background. In this sense, research plays a fundamental role in developing the student, among other characteristics, the critical sense, and the search for self. This article observes the question of involvement with scientific research from the perspective of the student, ie the vision of the subject who undergoes the process. The goal is to see if there is a relationship of scientific research experiments during their undergraduate and possible difficulties in the preparation of technical-scientific articles by students in a masters course. This study selected a sample of the students in the classes of 2010 and 2009 academic Master of Science in Accounting from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. The questionnaire was developed based on the theoretical and was divided into three parts. The first part seeks to information about the graduation of the respondent. In the second, which analyzes the experience that it had with the scientific research during graduation. The third part deals with the experience of current students in the Masters. Finally, we verify if there is any relationship between the current difficulties with past experiences in relation to scientific research. For tabulation and data analysis is used SPSS Data Entry. It was found that the interest during the graduation between the variables, is the key to explain the degree of difficulty that the masters are now in the drafting of articles. However, it was observed that the interest in research is influenced significantly by the incentive given to research projects, in terms of funding, institutions of higher education.Downloads
