Os direitos humanos no MERCOSUL

Abstract

The purpose of this work is a synthetic study of the problems of human rights and the importance of these rights in the international ambit, specifically those related to MERCOSUL. It analyzes the evolution of juridical protection of such rights in the international range until nowadays, taking into account them as basic principles of the society. It evinces that is not enough to reflect on such rights, but to analyze them as important integrational elements for the constitution of the Common Market of the South. It points out the little publicity of the matter, as well as applies a comparative perspective to the European Union. It observes that only through the conscious discussion those rights will be put into force in the juridical world.
