Law nº. 14.022/2020 as a measure to confront domestic and family violence during the pandemic and its contribution to SDG 16 of the UN'S 2030 Agenda

The pandemic caused by Covid-19 brought many impacts in peoples life all over the world. Among all this changes, the most vivid one was the social isolation measures, in order to hinder the spread of the virus. Inview of the situation and the social reactions, we can observe the growing number of cases of family and domestic violence against women, children, teenagers, elderly or people with disabilities. As its main goal, the research seeks to evaluate the law 14.022/2020, which one stipulates some essential services to provide support and to facilitate access to this victims. Therefore it was intended to analyze how this measures contributed to the global sustainable development bases on goal 16.1 of the SGD-16 of 2030 UN agenda. The research method that was used was the hipotetical-deductive and done by using bibliographic and documental reserarch technique.
